Hi everyone I wanted to talk about a matter that in my opinion is important, it is the CPU encroachments in Beamng Drive that for me do not exist because I can not just any ground I load just put two cars only two machines the game does so: If you do not go to settings or the gameplay menu is fine but as soon as i want to delete a car make it look like one or change graphics or gameplay settings goes to my grandmother's speed you just have to have an intel to play this game I7 of the seventh octa-core generation do something for those who have dual-core or quad-core if you think the graphics is not after i have an AMD Radeon r7 240x and it goes well with game play with all the details to medium and not minimum 8 gigabytes of RAM and a dual-core celeron, and that's just the problem with the processor. At the end of the discussion the juice is if you could make sure the beamng drive was better optimized or if you know some good processor to buy.

There is a reason for the celeron being so cheap... celerons can barely run anything.

If you're saying this game is hard to run, my friends Pentium G4400 with GTX 750 To runs it at 2 cars 1080p medium settings 60FPS. My rig with an I3-6100 and RX 460 runs 3 cars 1080p high settings 60FPS.
They've come a long way, so don't blame them that your Celeron can't run it smoothly. A Celeron isn't even the minimum requirements.

For RAM, the default maps can run on 4GB medium settings, it's the mods that at require more.

Finally, the GPU isn't stressed. The integrated Radeon R5 graphics in my laptop run (when the CPU isn't the bottleneck) at 30 FPS lowest settings 1366x768.

i'm playing the game on a crappy laptop
    • i5-3230M @2.6GHz (2core,4thread)
    • 8GB
    • Intel HD4000 (integrated graphic)
And i even mod on this computer.
i can run a map with 1 or 2 vehicle and have blender on another screen.
Yes it's not really good locking nor it runs smooth but it runs.

If games are not hard to run, then there is never a reason to upgrade components. If noone upgrades their components, then games stop getting more beautiful, immersive, and game-changing (like BeamNG). If we all still had Pentium 4s then a game like BeamNG would be completely impossible.

Games have to get harder to run for the PC gaming industry to move forward. If you don't like that, you should play a console.

PS: BeamNG has had MASSIVE improvements and runs much better. Look at my benchmarks:
