Nvidia Surround Broken in Update v0.19

    Don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but I am unable to set either borderless or full screen in game with any resolution. PC specs in signature.

    Monitor setup: 3x AOC C27G1 1080p 144Hz, all connected via DisplayPort, Nvidia surround 5760x1080.

    Borderless sets all screen to black indefinitely. Upon clicking of the mouse other desktop windows appear, BeamNG hard crashes, no error code, unseen in Task Manager, Steam doesn't recognize the game has crashed.

    Fullscreen sets all screens to black for 3-5 seconds, then game immediately sets everything back to windowed mode.

    Tried: Reinstallation of the game, reinstallation of video drivers, clearing cache, clearing settings, clearing mods

    Not to mention the launcher window no longer appears, the game just immediately starts.

    Highly annoying that a very basic feature (ultrawide support) that has worked fine since version 0.11, which is when I started taking advantage of it, is now completely and utterly broken.

    Thanks, we will be checking.

    Ultrawide support works fine.
    You are doing more than ultrawide with the Nvidia Surround thing, which changes how your monitor are being detected from your OS (ie. from X separate ones, into 1), which is a very different case.


    Please replicate the issue and provide a Support ID:
    Support ID

    And attach a copy of your Surround settings too.

    Update:

    We just checked on a similar setup and it has worked fine.
    Can you please try to wipe your settings and check again? (documents/beamng.drive/settings)

    Also please make sure to disable any overlay you have (Steam should be ok).


    If that does not help, please wait for the next update, we have many fixes that would help with lot of different things already.

    As for the launcher:
    It will not appear in these cases:
    - You are launching the game from the wrong exe (x64 or x86 exe)
    - You are using Steam Big Picture
    - You have a launch command set in Steam for the game

    In all of these, the launcher will be skipped.

    I'm afraid I could not understand your message fully.
    If your issue is different, please create a separate thread for it, so we avoid mixing different things.
    And then provide as much information in your thread, explaining in details the issue
