[Note: I do NOT live in Vancouver, so if anyone can give me some insight into Vancouver, I'd love to know.]
So, what do you think about Vancouver, from British Columbia of Canada? I just think that it seems to deserve attention (by movie), and that it looks pretty nice for a major city, although there must be more than that.

Interestingly, a movie scene from FD5 was set there, on this bridge:

    (North Bay Bridge)
Also, I think @Googlefluff can inform me of Vancouver.

I live in Surrey which is close to Vancouver but I don't go often. I can tell you the weather is mostly rainy it's kind of depressing.
Also my dad works there and his truck got broken into in a parking lot, they broke the sunroof but didn't take anything.

From "Canada's Rainiest Cities", it seems to be true.
Also, assuming from your description, is your dad a trucker?

There are videos on YouTube that could tell you more than I could. It has pros and cons, like any city.

Seems like it's also the same thing in OR's Portland. I'm seeing a pattern that the upper west of US and lower west of Canada is extremely rainy.

Is it a good job atleast for him? I'd might have to research them, to see what they program.

So, pretty much video games. That doesn't seem that bad (only because the video games, not EA).

I think that could be common for workers, some people can get exhausted from long work, and might even lead to departing from the company. Well, atleast your father decided with the right choice.
(I'm watching a pro+cons video of Vancouver now.

I'll get to that after I finish the video I'm watching right now.
(Also, I live in the East Coast, so if I did went there, it would be a long flight, until I do move to Oregon, then it would be shorten by many miles.)

There's also a second Vancouver in Washington (State). It's near the sourthern border not to far from Portland, OR.

I know, it's the same thing with plenty of cities and towns, examples are Salem and Portland, both in Oregon (Salem and Portland in OR are more major) and Massachusetts.

nah all the shows by emasculated channels and companies get filmed there
    ex:
    death note
    x files
    deadpool
    short time
    one upon a time
    mcguyver
    bates motel
rambo (not in va but still in BC)
    smallville
    21 jump street show
    Lucifer
    fear the walking dead
    godzilla
    interview
ever final destination except for the final destination 4
every fuking show on The CW
    etc
it literally always represents some us city, but i doubt people would car about a movie in and about Vancouver
lets be honest, since almost no action happens in canada especially in Vancouver
people should just film in Houston, it literally looks like a generic us city for a city in TX
