Basically, in addition to the inter-vehicle collision setting, I definitely think that there should be a setting to remove the leaves from the trees and removing the bushes, as they don't collide. On low to mid end systems, I have heard many people complaining about the lag from large quantities of trees, on both official and fan-created maps. This would also likely reduce the RAM usage as less textures have to be loaded. While many people do own high end systems, since the steam release, the game has been opened up to a wider audience, who often are gaming on lower spec systems.
yeah, that's BRILLIANT. /sarcasm Cant you just open the models in blender and delete the leaves, etc? Not too sure how "Easy" it really is?
If you can't run the game on low everything with collisions off then you probably are nowhere near the minimum requirements to run the game. This game isn't meant to run on any PC, it's not a source engine game. It takes some decent hardware just to run it. They do explain this with the requirements and all over the steam page but people tend not to read things and will just spend their money on it and then complain when it doesn't work despite being able to find out it wouldn't work before spending money on it.
I dont want to be offensive but there is something called work ( i dont know how old you are sooo ...) Or if you cant go to work try something called money saving. Save 500 € or so and buy a new PC. I made the same otherwise I would not have a GTX 960 :
I can't stress this enough, not for me, but for other users I am suggesting that it should be there as an option. I am going to get an i5 based rig, although I do get good FPS on my current rig at lowest, other than mesh and texture quality. See my sig for specs of my planned and current pc.
