The new mechanics for changing gears are cool in theory, but in execution I've found it to be quite frustrating and it's making me enjoy the game less. I don't want it removed, I just ask that some sort of optional safeguard, perhaps a minimum shift time or something, be added under the Driving Assistants options. It could be part of the Gearbox Safety Assistant or a new option entirely. Thanks!
irrc theres a setting that you can turn on that makes it so it holds the clutch until it finishes shifting, even if you let it off early
