Overall balance between american, japanese and european content

So BeamNG is focussing on american maps and cars and japanese cars since... They actually ever did. So my idea is that Beam could focuse on some more non american content in the future, especially european content. Since everyone has a different taste in cars and overall automotive stuff. The thing is EUDM enthusiasts (and JDM enthusiasts in terms of maps and trucks) don't really get much content, while Beam has 13 american cars (not counting the SP's) and only 3 german cars in total. And I think it would be nice if there was something for everyone.

I'm btw aware that the devs can't just yeet like 5 maps and 15 vehicles out of the nothing into the game, but it would just be nice to see if the devs would take care of the different domestic markets in future updates.

 

Yep, the EUDM section is generally lacking of content.

 

French cars is what we're lacking the most : 1 french car , that's not even quirky.We need more , and quirky this Time, french cars. It would also be good to have a french Map , because we only have one vanilla roundabout.

 

What do you mean by only one roundabout? There's not even a single french map. But even though french cars aren't my personal thing, I agree there should be something for french enjoyers too. (But I have to say, I maybe don't like real life french cars, but the Vivace is one of my favourites in Beam.)

 

We only have one vanilla roundabout in the whole game , and its in italy . Having a french Map would make a Big diference (as a French, i Can tell you it will do a lot more roundabout in the game)

Oh that's what you mean, yeah true. Idk much about french roads, is france known to have many roundabouts?

 

Half of the world's roundabout are located in France......

And as a French , there's a road near where i live , wich has three roundabouts already

Good for you. I was thinking about making a Germany map, but I have little to no Beam map editor knowledge, I'm kinda jealous that you can do it by yourself.

Would the Vivace and Tograc be considered two different cars, unless they are considered one since they are on the same platform.

 

Technicaly it's one Platform , they aren't separate and most notable change is a different fascias
