I have two problems on my Asus laptop. It responds slowly after dns unlocker installed, and whenever a new window or tab is opened on Firefox I see many pop ads for software, porn and various other assorted shit. I looked up the information about the unknown program and google result explained that it came bundled malware (see info). But the esetnode32 on the PC didn't show me an alert. Also, sometimes the laptop screen gets distorted with different colors when I play the sims2 game, i can't see anything just random color lines and eventually the PC stops responding so i have to restart it. How can I fix the two annoying problems? Btw, the computer has been used for 4 years.
Yep thats a virus. If you don't have anything valuable stored on there, Id recommend wiping the HDD and reinstalling windows, or if you wanted you could try malwarebytes, which is a free and effective anti virus. I'd nuke the HDD though if I were you.
Nuke and pave. Hope you don't have any important data. If you do might want to back it up to access from a non-vulnerable OS only (Linux).
You could try running programs such as, JRT, Hitman Pro, adwcleaner, and malwarebytes. Might not remove it, but I've used all of them on my old laptop to remove malware before, with good results. I'd say trying some/all of those is worth it. If not, then wipe your HDD.
Everyone has already said that a noob decides to show off his skills and says: hmmm m smart nuk da hdddddd.

I can't imagine you being very good. The point of computer repair is to recover as much as possible. Just wiping the HDD recovers nothing. You can actually install it in a non-Windows PC and recover a whole lot of files that way. And how does this help your computer repair business? Oh right, people walk in with a Macintosh Classic every other day. Also, you kinda need to include a brand with your model number. What does that even advertise to do?
