    Hello BeamNG Team!

I firstly tried out the demo, awsome first look, wanted more, so i did something not so legal.
But after tried the full version i wanted to buy this instantly to support the developers :) so fun and casual!
So i bought it and installed it via steam..

    But here starts the problems!

    Specs:
    i7 @ 4 ghz HT on
    GTX670 SLI custom bios @ 1201 mhz gpu / 3004 mhz mem
    6 gb ram @ 1600 mhz
    SSD for OS

On the not legal version i get 70-80 fps and the game looks amazing, on my paid version i get 10-25 fps and the game looks as good texture wize, but it laggs!
    50% gpu1 load
    24% gpu2 load
and not maxed out cpu either

Whats wrong? Tried all kind of settings but this setup should max it out easily, even tried both versions on steam the normal version and the "experimental" version!

    Regards. BultiZ

I think its the SLI Config in your GPU From what i've seen BeamNG doesn't like SLI, Maybe try disabling the SLI if possible.

Tried it as now, same problem 10-25 fps, but with more stutters, 50% gpu1 load ....

GPU bottlenecking i guess Is Vsync turned on If yes turn it off it uses Cpu power taking some fps (But will result in less smooth fps sometimes).

ofc i allways play games with v-sync off, i usually never get games to run under 100 fps so :) how can the GPU bottleneck at 50% usage? when the game was running awsome on an older version?

I have SLI enabled and the stock maps lag like crazy. I found that the water seems to have something to do with it. Before the pre race update i was hammering the fps in the 80's but now it fluctuates wildly from 20-70.

If I disable SLI then I get an overall FPS drop and the water seems to make much less difference to the frame rate.

The thing with the water is I cant find a definite setting thats causing it. I can tweek the settings on the stock maps and nothing really helps. Deleting the water and adding a new ocean with default settings unclogs the system. looks like crap though :(
I hope SLI becomes fully supported in the future. As it stands now only the top end cards can deal with the game on max settings, but if SLI was supported, a pair of lower end cards could enjoy the same benefits.

Humff that might be true, but how would i delete water ? since some tracks doesnt really have water where u drive, but they lag anyway

    - - - Updated - - -

But i think it still strange that the game looked amazing and was steady around 70-80 fps on and older version..

    - - - Updated - - -

Now i re-installed the normal steam version, steady 77 fps while at the ocean. Everything maxed out totally.. something is srsly broken here.

Team feel free to contact me for testing

Press shift-U to turn the UI off. It pretty much doubles my framerate.

Right, but this should only effect the experimental version. I remember stuff like this happening back a couple releases, I don't remember the fix.

What are you talkin' about ? VSYNC doesn't use any CPU power. All it does is sync the frame rate to the monitor's vertical refresh rate.

If I misunderstood what you were trying to convey, that would be because you didn't use any punctuation.

If he is saying what I think he is, he is totally wrong. But vSync can cause some issues.

I think ive found what some of my problem was, in nvidia control panel i added beamng.exe and choose standard settings except power, power was set to maximum performance.

Then i get 80-90 fps at cliff level on max settings.

I think the my "pirated copy" got added to the nvidia control panel automatic, and when i bought the game the steam version wasnt added automaticly..

But the SLI doesnt work good, on default settings with above fixed i get 95-98% gpu1 load and 7-10% gpu2 load.
Forcing different SLI modes in nvidia control panel just makes the performance worse..

Thanks for an fun casual game :)
