For any bugs and idea, of this mod (Pigeon Performance): https://www.beamng.com/resources/pigeon-performance.19630 Lore: "More power is needed, 500cc won't cut it. For export market, we decided to enlarge the engine to 800cc. Also Diesel engine is much requested, so there's 2 cylinder 800cc engine lopped off from 1.6l 4 pot diesel." ~ Quote from Ibishu CEO when attempting to expand to lucrative market such as India. There's also 660cc variant for JDM in response of March 1990's kei car regulations. Ibishu also added 4WD capabilities too. Later in Philippines, there's a company called Angeles Surplus co. ltd located in Cebu. In late 1990's to early 2000's, they sold rebuilt Ibishu Pigeons (local nickname: Multicab) from Japan. Those rebuilt Pigeons must use left hand drive (LHD) in order to have it registered from LTO. Thus the unofficial LHD Pigeon were born. This unofficial LHD Pigeon serve as base of multicab based jeepneys. (problem is the character on beamng cannot get in because too tall, IRL they would have to duck). They also made double cabin version, which never manufactured by Ibishu themselves. It was done by 'sacrificing' MPV variant. Manufacturing in India is done by Bharat Garuda Ibishu (80/20 JV between Bharat Garuda group and Ibishu Motors of Japan) and it has two type of engine, and two type of wheel configuration. Petrol, or diesel. Autorickshaw, or van. Even after the Ibishu Pigeon production got discontinued elsewhere (like in Japan itself), they're still making it new as of 2024 with 800cc 3 cyl petrol and 800cc 2 cyl diesel. Even if they are dated, it still sells well. Compared to contemporary autorickshaws, it's also much more comfortable with optional aircon available (optional due to concern of lack of power) even for autorickshaw configuration. They are also export oriented: It's not only sold in Indian subcontinent, but also making moves to north and central Africa, alongside with Caribbean and LATAM region. Disclaimer, fictious situation, any IRL reference is coincidental.
I tried your mod. The jbeam must ofc not be perfect and you could maybe use the original 3D model I think? And maybe use the Jeepney box Jbeam Edit: Sorry If I was unclear. What I meant was to use the Wagon Dove body, cut the back part and put it as a Bed Config. Maybe it would be even better to make a Cab config without back.
Yeah thats a problem. Maybe you could ask him for permission? Altrough I doubt that he would even reply. (Altrough a nice remaster with him tagged as the original modeller sounds achievable)
Update: I have a plan, the plan is to reuse the Ibishu Dove model. As author has left the forum (mike94 was last seen: Feb 26, 2019), well I just said YOLO.. This decision is made after I botched attempting to make the rear section Another update: Help me with the jbeam of rear section of MPV, I cannot do it properly
There's the beta, I need help for MPV variant. Helpers will be credited. Edit: I have bad internet, cannot upload. I'll try to do it myself instead. Instead, have an attempted modelling sneak peek
An update: Van body is finished but sadly van's jbeam is bugged. idek how to fix that If you wanna try to fix and see the problem, here's the beta:
the mpv body doesnt appear for me, there is no configs with it and there is no mpv bodies to select i have updated the mod to the latest version in repo, and i have also done deep cache clearing
