Hi BeamNG team, In previous versions of the game, there was an option in the audio settings called "Maximum Voices" that allowed us to control how many simultaneous sounds (like engines, tire skids, collisions, etc.) could play at once. This was very useful for performance tuning on lower-end systems or when trying to reduce sound clutter in dense scenarios. After the latest update, it seems this setting has been removed from the user interface and configuration files. I understand if it's being managed automatically now, but for some users, having manual control was important – either for sound debugging, realism tweaks, or performance reasons. Would it be possible to: Reintroduce this option in the Advanced Audio Settings menu? Or at least allow overriding it via settings.json or the console with a command like AudioMaxVoices? Thanks for the amazing work on the game – it just keeps getting better! But a small setting like this can still make a big difference for some of us. Best regards, JaJankaNoob
voices are by default at their max setting of 512. and i never thought id agree, but, yeah, id also like it if the option was still available, when testing a lot of traffic, the audio cuts off because 512 isnt even enough lol. if it has such a negligible impact, why not let us have 1024 voices?... my pc can handle more.
