Please fix the broken xbox controlls

Seriously, why does a button sometimes select things in the menu's and other times completely close the menu's, just does what it feels like? its horribly annoying and makes the game unplayable. Is it something i can fix?

In the controls menu you can try changing the controls to what you whant them to do.

What menu are you talking about?
The xbox controls are working fine for pretty much most of the people.
Please put some more details, so we can understand what part of the game (and menu) you are referring to.
