Please help

Hello I need help, when I open the tech demo it lags soooo much and I dont know why I tried everything please help

 

What are your PC specs? You may need to invest in a better PC.

 

This is like what someone else mentioned in another thread. It's like going to a garage saying "my car doesn't work, how do I fix it?", without giving any other information. It would be useful if you told us your PC's specs, without them we don't know what you use and therefor we can't help at all.

If you tried "everything" your pc most likely is just not good enough, because if the game still lags horribly when you put all the settings to "lowest" there really isn't anything you can do about it I guess.

 

Open game, then click on Options, the left hand window (SSAO), on top of that window, uncheck the box that says "enable SSAO". that's a FPS eater. Also, set all settings on the right hand window (graphics options menu) to lowest, AntiAlias to 0X and lighting quality (another big FPS eater) to Lowest.

On my game, sometimes when I hit Apply, it crashes, but when I hit Done instead, it saves the settings for the current game but when I close and restart I have to reset all values. I have been able to (at some previous point) apply the changes and save them, so now I don't need to worry about it. Im also on a laptop, so not the best platform to play this game, but Im getting over 30 fps with medium/low settings. Also, (I happen to use AMD graphics) Im able to modify my display settings on my desktop, therefore giving everything on my computer a much more vivid and sharp display, with the game on Low settings, it still looks good.

Give us some more info and maybe ull get a helpful answer. The steps I mentioned above all worked for me, I was around 3 FPS (lol) and now im comfortably over 30, and my CPU/GPU doesn't throttle, although the fan blows out fire (almost) lol

 

we need more info, like, oh, i dont know, perhaps your specs? (sorry if it sounds mean, but we just get so many threads like this here, its quite annoying)

if you dont know how to get it, press the Windows Key and the "R" key at the same time, it should open a run dialog, type in "dxdiag" without the quotes, youll then get a screen like this:

click the "save all information..." button, and upload that file, which will then tell us your specs
