Hello all. I searched in the forum but couldn't find anything similar to this. Not sure if there is a mod for this or the same topic has been talked about before. The idea is, the police AI shouldn't chase us if we also drive a police car. It's nice to chase a fugitive AI with another police AI. So I think it would be really cool to add this at some point.

Ah yes, I was playing with slightly changed version of an unmarked police car. I tried with an original version and they don't chase me anymore. It's weird that with modified version, I can still chase the suspects but police AI also chases me. Nevertheless, thank you for the response. Also yes the police should be following laws, but it was weird that police AI starts to chase me during a chase.
Sorry for the late reply, If you want that custom configuration to not be chased, You'll need to create a .json file to go with it. https://docs.beamng.com/modding/vehicle/tutorials/configs/ this tutorial should teach you how to create it.
yea this would be a good thing but if you was after a criminal the cop cars that you dont control would join the chase to help you
