It may look finished on the outside but needs work on the inside such as jbeam and maybe the interior.
you must be joking dude xD As I said before, I got to the point where the crash tests showed what needs to be improved in the mesh. Some things just couldnt work well in its form so I decided to do a remaster of the whole body, which is now more crash friendly, also the reflections now looks way better. Im gonna make some tests soon, but first I have to clean the mess I made during the Jbeam rebuild.
May I ask, is this current project directly based on the previous Polonez model you've made? And if it is, how much work did it take to convert those into BeamNG? Since from what I persume the original models was originally made for GTA IV, where most of the BeamNG technicalities didn't exist.
Looks like a pretty high quality mesh now, I really didn't expect the mod to look so clean in Blender, I'm starting to really like this mod now
It always was like this, but there were some issues due to doing some things in the beginning in Zmodeler, then moving it to Blender. Now its just all cleaned up as it should be Nope, its brand new model which is based on 3D scanned real car. It was made to match beamng and GTA V mesh density and style. You can ask one guy how long it takes to just put some meshslap into the game but all the time consuming part is when it have to be done correctly. It took me about 5 hours to put the model into the game with materials and all parts, but refining and sorting jbeam thinks takes about month for now and I still cant see the end.
Looks good but shouldn't the roof be stronger? I don't think it should bend that much, if I'm wrong then tell me, but it looks too weak for a car like this
