    [Project Proshec 469]

So after playing Beam for quite literally years and spotting almost no Porsche "re-creations" in the classic Beam style, I figured I would take my crack at it turning a Porsche esque vehicle into a Beam Brand car. I have no modding experience, zero in Blender, and zero on .json. So, we'll see how this goes.

Made this little yellow gem in Automation and am currently trying to figure out how to port the Automation .json files into Blender and then pick a undercarriage that suits this to, sort of, amalgamate two vehicles into one.
Ironically, the Automation version I created is blindingly fast and extremely stable, understeers like hell though.

Anyways, just thought I'd share. Thanks!

Edit: If you all have any resources on learning some modding/Blender basics, I would greatly appreciate the support!!

The file you import to Blender isn't a .json, it's a .dae. Json is basically a cool text file while .dae is the 3d model format that BeamNG uses. So to import your car into blender, first find your mod file, extract it, and the .dae should be in there like this (note: it won't have the little blender icon like mine)

Now open up blender and select File -> Import -> .dae
    importdae.png
Then it should load up the model and appear

Some of your objects will look weird and misplaced, that's just how the Automation export likes to do it unfortunately. From here you can look up some blender tutorials on what to do and how, just know that editing the model probably will result in some missing textures that will need fixing. If you need any more help feel free to PM me!

I’m a photoshop guy so the learning curve for blender is pretty steep lol. You answered my first questions.
