Hi! I wonder how you port over cars? :) and if that even is legal or so? Just a question no need for hate :)

You shouldn't port. If you get caught taking something from Forza they could sue the devs and cause the game to cease development.

Pfft... all they will do is tell the devs to tell the person who ported something from forza and the devs will take it down.

They can't bust BeamNG like they could RoR, this is different. You can port as long as you give credit, and if the actual author says he wants the released mod taken down, it will be taken down. i don't think nobody from Turn10 would even bother telling anybody not to use a model from their game, because they don't care.

None of these responses answer the question at hand.

Yes, you can port as long as you give proper credits (my suggestion is to do a from scratch j-beam or a heavily modified j-beam closest to your vehicle of choice, otherwise you'll most likely get lots of hate)

    The op never asked that

And I personally dont know, ive tried many times but it never works for some reason, mythbuster or drowsy or some other modded could probably explain it (you might also check the wiki)

Import to blender/equivalent. Export as .dae, may have to edit mesh and textures inbetween which is then a question of knowing how to 3d model and texture rather than how to put content into BeamNG.

    Its all on the wiki.

If you port, make sure you do a brilliant job putting together a thing that is accurate Visually and Physically, else you are wasting your time. Nobody wants to drive a *InsertCarModelHere* that handles exactly like a Gavril Grand Marshal or whatever official vehicle. Every car has its own specifics.

Wopa! Late answer :D My plans was to get a car model from Gta V and import it as a test car ( never tried jbeam etc) Mostly personal use, but who knows maybe it turns out great :) I dont need help with jbeam stuff right now. Just how to get the car model from gta to blender etc. I googled it but no success :/ Some tips on how to find the model and imprt/export would be awsome :) For the jbeam stuff I will just use the Wiki in the start :)
