    Hi! Haven´t seen this kind of thread yet so i though why not start one.

    When you post a render describe what kind of render method you used and what program.

    Some rules:
    * It can not be a picture from in-game.
    * No videos.
    * Don´t post as attachment

    This is my Render of the Scarab

    * 3dsMax 2014
    * Mental Ray

    how do you render the cars? can you use a program like Blender or something? do you actually have to model the car before you can render it?

    You need a 3d modeling program which can do renders to, well, render the cars. Blender is (IMO) the best choice since it's free, but there's other modeling software out there whcih can be used aswell.
    You don't have to model the car so you can render, you can use a model that you have laying around your hard drive , i.e. the 200BX from BeamNG.Drive.
    Here's a render of it :
    200bx.jpg

    --edit--

    Render Info (forgot that)
    Blender Cycles, 1125 samples, 8 hours render time.

    I like the way it looks.
    99% of my renders look like this, the only one that doesn't is this one :
    200BXRiceMirrorRoom.jpg

    Render info (forgot that last time) :
    Blender Cycles, 50 samples.

    Your window wipers in this one are the same color as your car, shouldn't they be black plastic.

    You should of fixed your lighting, your shadow behind the vehicle seems bugged out or just bad.

    8Hr render should have been tested with a 150 sample or lower quick render

    Oops, forgot that.

    I didn't test render it since it was at like 3AM and I didn't wanna wait for a test render, I just wanted to sleep. I could re render it at 500 samples, doesn't take quite aslong.

    If you're using Blender, then you need to press F12 to render.
    If you actually meant how to make all the colours and stuff, just google it, I can't really explain it, I just mess around with it until I think that it looks good.
    Also, if you don't want to render, but just want a preview, press shift+z (on a german keyboard it's z atleast)
