Some pseudo rust Some dudes with their 19xx Opel Vectra B caravan buy such decals/ vinyls whatever for their hood over here in Germany I don't get it. I think the idea in game is nice but to be honest this doesn't look like rust at all... Did some research. As you can see only the real beasts have such decals. hmm, that's not brilliant to be fair. I can see the individual brush strokes and you've literally just scribbled brown onto the car.
Crap or not , you're taking time to make them and that is what matters . Thank you for making this . everybody needs to Stop being an A** to everyone . omg guys are you better than everyone else to think you're crap don't stink . if its any help , I havn't figure'd out how to paint cars in this game yet and just learn'd about 4 months ago how to paint in ROR . it ain't easy . I disagree. We aren't being mean, we're being honest. If someone spent a few hours on a simple skin, I can respect that. Even if the skin doesn't look great, they still invested time and effort into it. This rust skin seems like a five second, minimal effort, lackluster skin that anyone can make. It isn't really rust either, just random brown streaks across the body. He didn't spend any time on this skin, so why should he be congratulated?

First of all, your first statement agrees with my argument. Making detailed rust takes a good bit of time. The creator of this skin didn't invest enough time into this mod, so the rust doesn't look nice. Second, ANYONE in this forum can skin. If you can see this post, that means you downloaded the BeamNG Alpha. If you can do that much, you can make a skin. It's not exactly a difficult or confusing process: just replace a file with a new one. People just need to put effort into their skins. If something goes wrong, consult one of the numerous skinning tutorials in this forum. Also, I can sense that things have become a bit heated between us. I'm not trying to bash new modders. I just want people to realize that skins take time. Look, it's 5:50 right now. I'll be back around 6:00 with my best rust skin to show that skinning isn't difficult, you just need to put effort into it.
I'm back. It's 6:06. I had the mod done at 6:02, but I had to test it in game. In twelve minutes, I managed to skin a few parts (mismatched to look like a crappy scrapyard car), edit the material file, and pull off a few parts. It's not great, but that's what you get with such little time. What I'm trying to say is, put time and effort into your mods.

Thanks. Yeah its Ment to be a Holden kingswood. It to was a 1970s body on frame. These old holdens Used to be on the road and demo derbys. The ones left Are getting done up. And as For this It looks like a Holden with a hint of valiant charger.
