Thread posting I. General Rules Place threads/mods in the appropriate categories, and use the correct tags. The user takes full responsibility for what is being uploaded and posted on the section. Make sure you have all proper permission and credits, especially if you are using content you have not made yourself. The lack of correct credits would lead to the thread to be removed. See section below Stealing / claiming as own other people's work will not be tolerated, and will result in forum rights being revoked. To make a thread, you must have consistent progresses to show, better if in-game screenshot to show. Do not make a thread if you downloaded a 3D model and opened it in your 3D software with little to no changes. Do not make a thread if you just started your 3D model. Please don't use this section to request mods. If you need help with a specific mod, use its dedicated thread. Downloads can be either provided as: - Forum Attachment - Link to a hosting service (Google Drive, Mega, etc. as the author prefers) Links to third-party mod websites are not allowed (exceptions may apply by contacting a forum admin first). II. Assets from other sources This is valid for mods containing any parts that belong to other titles or users. Assets from other sources with no credits Violates rule #2, thread will be taken down Assets from other sources with credits [2] Uploader takes all responsibility for what is being uploaded. Thread will be taken down if original copyright holder performs a copyright claim Assets from other users [1] Must have explicit permission beforehand, else thread will be taken down [1] The user being part of the BeamNG community or others, as far the user is active / reachable. [2] Credits are required whether the asset has been or not modified in any form or extents. [3] In case of wrong credits/sources, the thread will be put under moderation to be reviewed. Our moderators will get in touch with the author in order to proceed with the corrections. Citing wrong sources/credits on purpose will be treated as stealing, with the relative consequences. Original posters will be notified of removals and reason via the forum notification system. Reply posting When replying to a thread, try to: Avoid going off-topic If you want to chat with somebody, use private messages instead (off-topic posts could get removed without notice) Don't beg for downloads and/or mods. Avoid asking for release dates. Generally, be nice to others Don't report issues if your game is outdated Chances are that the mod was made for the most recent version of the game (unless it has an outdated tag) Describe in details the problem you are reporting. This will help the user to find the issue. If you use other mods, consider the possibility the issue is caused by another conflicting mod.
