This may be a dead thread like my others but here we go. Beamng is one of the most advanced driving/sandbox game ever. It has loads of stuff in it but this will have a cost. One cost would be features. We all like to have as much features as possible but sometimes too much is bad. Most people with controller(such as I ) sometimes have to do certain things on the keyboard when we play on controller. Say nitrous for example. It usually is on the a or cross button and we want to have headlights as well but sometimes people want to have both but can't because of the amount of buttons on the controller. This problem most likely won't be solved with a dedicated Beamng controller because there will be so much buttons that the whole controller won't be ergonomic. Performance won't be an issue because my pc runs Beamng and you can see the specs on my profile. Ps5 and Xbox series x and s are so powerful that they can probably run Beamng at high settings with 60 fps at 4k. It would be helpful if people found some errors with my thoughts and clarity from a developer trying to adapt the game on console.
I firmly believe BeamNG will come to consoles someday. They have the specs to handle it, all I think is holding it back, is the amount of work that would go into a port, as well as the game being so early in development. I think consoles are out of the question until the 1.0 release, then we'll see
