problem exporting .dae from sketchup and then opening it in blender

    everytime i edit my vehicle in sketchup i export it as a .dae and then import it to blender but it doesn't load all of the modifications i did. Screenshot_2.jpg <-- before and after---> Screenshot_1.jpg

    When you export it from sketch up is it exporting everything? In sketch up does every object have a material or other properties needed for proper exporting?

    sometimes when I run into similar problems with other programs its because not all the objects have the right properties needed to export correctly, the problem is most likely on the sketch up side, start there.
