Problems with Decal Road Editor and Node grabber using a clean installation.

Good day, and thank you for your time. It is much appreciated.

I have an issue when placing decal roads on the template map.
Whenever I change the material from the default BlankWhite, the decal road turns invisible, even when I change it back to the default BlankWhite.
In order to make the decal road visible, I have to delete it and undo the deletion.

Also, for some reason I am unable to grab nodes consistently, hovering over most nodes does not produce an orange dot like it does for others, clicking said nodes does nothing. I am only able to grab certain nodes, and nodes I can't grab I can only grab by holding the mouse button and moving my mouse around randomly until it grabs one.

Does anyone know how to fix these issues?
These occur with a brand new clean installation, cleared cache, verified files, deleted user folder, and no mods.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Well, to me it looks like sensitivity is messed up. Also, if you downloaded it somewhere else than steam-- there's your problem. Sometimes PCs suck and get old. Some stuff breaks for no reason.

And also try seeing if gravity is right and you can adjust strength by holding a node and moving scroller on mouse up/down.

I am using a legit steam version.
Everything else works perfectly, such as gravity and node grab strength.

I believe that both of these issues have to do with Windows 7, as it does not happen on my Win10 computer but does on every Win7 I have tested it on so far.
One of the developers told me they would look into it so hopefully it is something that can get fixed. We will see.
