imho there needs to be proper fiberglass simulation for things like the civetta bolide and the monster truck mod(/s coming in the future) and proper wood destruction for the pallets of wood, semi dryvan trailer, and any camper mods.

Well, in theory, everything that is needed for a physically accurate simulation is already there. We just need to understand the material parameters by doing research. I am not sure what the units of stiffness and damping are in Beam (probably N/m and Ns/m respectively) but in theory you should be able to open any textbook and just type in the numbers they give you in there and wala... realistic fiberglass (or whatever). Now the breaking strength number is a little tricky for me as I am not sure if they use the Maximum material strength or what they use, so that may need some messing around with.

well fiberglass doesn't bend like metal does, if it bends, it breaks. wood is in a similar fashion

Realistic wood/fiberglass destruction will be great for various trailers.

Right, so you lower the braking coefficient so that the beam can only deflect a little before braking rather than a lot like they do with metals.
