Is it possible to use a ps4 controller, specifically the thumb stick things? It shows up in the hardware list in options, the buttons are all recognised and work in testing, it allows you to bind them all, including the axis sticks, but when i come to play the game nothing really works, at least as i set it up. The stick moves the camera despite me trying to unbind everything other than the driving controls, i cant get it to operate the throttle or brake or steering at all, a couple of buttons do work, eg, X button is select, fair dinkum, but thats about all i can suss! Im fully aware that im probably being totally stupid and missing something obvious somewhere, maybe im too used to consoles where you dont have to worry about this kind of thing, but it does seem ridiculously complicated, which i wouldnt mind if after messing about for ages it worked! It was easier to set up the thrustmaster wheel, but having the wheel and having to use the keyboard as well is daft and bad for your back. Any advice or clue what to do would be greatly appreciated, ive been looking forward to playing this for ages, but so far ive done almost nothing but look at menus and get annoyed!
Have you reset your own config and started from scratch and what functions do you want to assign to the buttons. In my config it works perfectly unless you use Bluetooth. Are you sure everything works
I can confirm that it does work for me, the only thing is, the camera is inverted. Try resetting the bindings, that may work. If not, maybe the controller itself is broken
