Put car in to gear

Hi!

Im all of a sudden not able to put my car in to gear. I did a reset on my car and then it happend. WHat am i doing wrong?
I cant shift up or down or put it in to arcade mode. Made a quick search in the forums but i didn't find any good information.

Just noticed that the problem now is just showing up in "scenario"-mode. The car behave as it should i Freeroam. What kind of newbe related error am i doing?

• Make sure you're pressing the correct key to shift: http://wiki.beamng.com/Controls
• The default key to change shifting modes is Q.
• The default keys for shifting are: Z and X.

 

Hi! As i wrote in the update - It works in freeroam. So the keyboard setup is not a problem..

 

I'll assume that you tried to fiddle with the transmission mode button in the scenario already, but have you tried other scenarios yet to see if the problem persists in all of the scenarios?

Assuming that you have, do you have any mods installed on your game? If so, remove the mods, clear your cache, and restart the game to see if that fixes it.

If you don't have any mods, and/or that didn't work, you may have to try to do a full reinstall of beamng... I'm sure a moderator can chime in from here and give you further help. Good luck
