    how do i make a group? i want to make one but there is no button to do it.

    You can't anymore, they (staff) removed the ability a while ago.
    Those lucky enough to have made one before that, can keep theirs so long as the group stays active.

    No, it has been disabled completely now.
    That forum extension is giving us major problems on the back-end.
    We are leaving existing groups, but blocked the creation of new ones to avoid the thing to cause more slowdowns.

    Very likely not, the whole group/social system is really heavy for the whole forum system.
