Hello Beamng community. Firstly, I apologise in advance if creating separate topics like this is against the rules, I know there are dedicated topics for both of my issues but it's much easier for me to create my own topics to keep track of replies etc. I’m having quite a big problem at the minute particularly with car loudness. I am a blind gamer as some of you probably know from my earlier posts, so I use my ears for more or less everything. That being said, I am having trouble hearing most if not all the cars, particularly when going fast in a lower end car. The terrane sounds, especially the wind rushing sounds are very OP IMHO compared to the vehicle sounds to the point that the engine sounds are completely inaudible even when switched to one of the exteria views. I read a topic where someone had a similar problem; and I understand what @TDK said regarding cars being different volumes due to their model or how fast they are etc, but I really think something should be done regarding this because I have my volumes at the highest, I think it's 1.0 in the ini settings and all the other sounds are just so much louder. It's not my laptop either, I play FH5 and GTAV and have no problem with engine sounds. If anyone knows a way of increasing car volume above base values then please let me know, or even if there’s a mod that increases volume. My other question is regarding the UI. I would like to reach out to whoever develops the UI or someone who could maybe mod it if possible. I know that the game isn’t designed with blind gamers in mind, but I would really appreciate it if something could be done to change the menu layouts. In most if not all games, the menus are generally lists and they make generic beap sounds or whatever when you go up and down the lists, or when you select something. However the menus in Beamng are very hard to navigate, especially when you’re in game and you want to quit or change vehicle etc. The audio feedback in the menus is very temperamental, and sometimes I can't navigate at all because some menus require mouse input and also sometimes the menus change randomly when the resolution changes, which is very annoying because I have to commit menus to memory and when they change it throws me out completely because it's a different layout. I also wish that someone could get rid of the numbpad navigation and change it to arrows and enter keys, no other game I’ve played forces numbpad or mouse navigation and I think it's a little unfair for people who don’t have gamepads or numbpads on their keyboards. I understand that you can just change controler layouts but that's easier said than done for someone like me and it also doesn’t save the settings, when I got my new computer I was stuck for a while because the settings reverted back to numbpad and mouse so I couldn't play the game until I got a gamepad, so please can someone take this into account and do something about this? Sorry for the long post
