Rain in BeamNG?

So, i was messing arround with BeamNG's map editor in the Italy map, and scearched rain in the scene tree, found "rain" and "rain_coverage". I get curious, change the "numDrops" value in "rain_coverage", and bam. Rain.
I'm playing in 0.30.5.0.15667 with no active mods.

Yeah, that is an intended feature, not sure when exactly they added it but I think it has been here for some time already.

 

Probably, can't wait to see an official implementation

 

that is just not implemented currently, you can access it that way, its been known for a while. You can see that when you turn it on your fps just shatter and die (mine do), irrc it isnt optimized and good looking enough to yet be implemented officialy

 

Since we're on the topic of rain, how do I get wet roads? I just want the roads to be wet, no rain droplets required.
