Hey! I wanted to see what a real life pigeon would be like... So I found a video.... My conclusion.... They suck!
I think this is best Reliant Robin clip, it has only been there for 10 years so probably everyone knows about it, but it still shows how safe those are:
The Reliant is massive compared to the Pigeon. The Pigeon is a pickup, the Reliant is a hatchback. The Pigeon is japanese, the Reliant is British. I'm genuinely curious how, after seeing several posts featuring small japanese pickups you came to the conclusion that the Reliant is closest to the Pigeon
I do believe that the Reliant Robin has had some influence on the Pigeon. 1: Both are named after birds. 2: The Robin may have inspired the Pigeon's front end. IMO, there's something about them that looks similar. I think what's worthy of highlighting, is the layout of the headlights and front indicators. I've also seen several Robins with bumpers with a design similar to the Pigeon's. 3: Look at this old photo of the Pigeon's development. A majority of Reliant Robins I've seen had that exact taillight design, including the one Jeremy Clarkson rolled. 4: Here's a little something, if you type in Ibishu Pigeon on Google Images, guess who's at the top for other searches? I agree that they're not 100% alike, but I do believe that they share some similarities. Perhaps Gabester was inspired by the Robin, and therefore used some ideas from it on the Pigeon.
guessing most of you aint seen a robin reliant on the streets then? I have seen plenty. They arent that unstable
Its because people who don't know much about cars just call any 3 wheel vehicle a reliant robin... They also think they fall over all the time, which is also non sense, no more unstable than a trike.
