So I met all the requirements and my computer is pretty fast but oh wait what's this? LAG??? UH UHHH. I experience lag when I look around and crash. I end up with 7 frames.

Tell me all the settings required and tell me why please.

I'm looking at the GTX 750, and thinking your settings are too high.

Turn down your settings, especially SSAO, Dynamic Reflections, and mesh settings.

Can't expect great performance from a 750, though.

If you dont Have "1920x1080" Choose the one CLOSEST to your Current resolution, or get a New monitor... preferably 1680x150... and set your game graphics to low... that should help alittle, if it STILL lags, comment and i have a program for you to install that makes FPS rise, it helps me ALOT... (Gamebooster: For Windows 7,8,8.1,10)

    He's running 1080p, mate. 1920x1080. That's not the problem.

Also, don't install gamebooster. It doesn't do anything except close some background processes that don't affect FPS at all.

    @thegliderking
Turn down the settings as I recommended, that will alleviate some of the lag.

Are you running 32 bit windows? If you are, then it's right and you should get 64 bit windows. If you're not, make sure you're running the latest version - this could be a bug that was patched a few releases ago.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter that much, your CPU is fast enough either way.

A 670 is better than a 750. A 750 is like a new gen 650. NVIDIA has 500 series, 600 series, 700, 800, etc... and the performance goes up only with the last two #'s (70 is better than 60 is better than 50).

I found your problem. 64-bit Windows 7 using only 4 GB of RAM...your two options are to upgrade to 8 GB of RAM (If not 8, DO NOT settle for less than 6 under any circumstance), or replace the operating system with a 32-bit version instead. However, I would recommend the RAM upgrade as there is a lot less work and precautions to upgrading RAM sticks as well as the fact that BeamNG.drive runs phenomonally better on a 64-bit platform than a 32-bit platform due to the high processing activity involved in simulating softbody physics and high quality graphics at the same time.

Edit: There are a few other things to keep in mind as well, but they are very lengthy to explain here. Just visit this YouTube link:

"RAM Upgrade Guide - What You Need to Know" by NCIX Tech Tips (hosted by Linus from LinusTechTips)

The intro is just a joke about scammy RAM upgrade offers, but the rest of the video quickly gets to the meat of the problem and explains it clearly.

I don't think the RAM is the problem... He has 12GB.
Look at what BeamNG reports the OS as... "Windows 8.1 (type 101)".
BeamNG is running in x86 mode for some reason.

That is the system memory listing. If he actually does have 12 GB of RAM, then the game is not correctly detecting it.
(ignore this part about the system memory, I forgot it was mentioning GPU RAM instead by accident)

I just thought of another thing too...BeamNG.drive actually IS running in x86 mode for some reason when it should be running in x64. x86 is the 32-bit variant of the game, and the 32-bit architecture in general cannot recognize anything larger than 4 GB of RAM.

I do thank mumboking for mentioning the game running in x86 though...good eye.
