So... since the update broke my truck mod, I've decided to restart.

However, when I tries to position the rear wheels, the brakes starts to overheat...

It got to the point that it will start to smoke and doesn't function at all.

I don't know whats the cause of this, it was fine before I moved the wheels.

You can stop but not fix this I found, try disabling the brake thermals to prevent the roblem, that's what I did but I do not know how to get the brakes back to normal with the thermals on.

Make sure selfcollision: false in rambrakes.jbeam. That might work.

@Dean Wang - please provide "before and after" jbeam files.
    1. a jbeam file that works correctly (eg wheels not repositioned)
    2. a jbeam file that presents the overheating problem (eg only difference is that you moved the wheels)
@rottenfitzy - there should be no collision to manage. All a brake part normally does is this:
    • add slots (brakepads etc)
    • add flexbodies (visual mesh, tied to existing node group such as wheelhubs)
    • overwrite settings in pressureWheels (eg set brake torque etc)
With no nodes, beams, or coltris they can't have any collision.

Are your torquenodes and reaction nodes (or how are they called) defined correctly in the wheeldata?
If not, they probably cause the problem ;)

I don't think that you understand the question/discussion here. Did you read this part of the OP? "it was fine before I moved the wheels"
