being a honda person i would recommend the HRV, the kadjar is a nice car but im not to sure with the reliability, im guessing that you are going with the diesels for fuel economy, but the two have nice petrols (honda has a little 1.5L that isnt really good up hills)

oh okay, so youre going petrol, then i would say that the kadjar is a very good one, although dont expect good offroad capabilities or class leading reliability, but yeah, after the HRV i would get a kadjar, but to be honest i dont like cross overs at all as they are practically larger hatchbacks with lifted suspension and if youre lucky AWD, anyway i recommend the Kadjar in youre circumstances
My father and I had a test drive in one. its a nice car and i like the digital instruments. but if you go for a lower trim model you're better off with a nissan qashqai
