I've been a member of this community for many years now but have yet to join the modding side of it. The huge (and growing) complexity of JBeam has always put me off despite being relatively proficient with Blender. However, with the summer here, I reasoned that now was the time to learn. Hence my first mod. The 3rd gen Twingo piqued my interest on learning of it's unusual RR drivetrain. I dedicated a few days to modelling the outer shell before starting my first scratch built JBeam. Its base was exported from blender then tweaked in Notepad. A lot of experimenting/trial and error followed as the "Intro to vehicle creation" tutorial is very outdated. So far I've managed to get universal wheels working along with steering. There is no suspension at all, so that will be the next task. Not an easy one I know but I'm enjoying learning so far. Once it doesn't bounce around so much I'll try to get it deforming nicely. Then the interior and engine and floorplan and... etc
What do u want from a WIP mod then??? A very very good texture? It's still WORK IN PROGRESS. Please give him a time to improve his mod.
I honestly think it looks great for a WIP mod. Don't let the haters bring you down. Can't wait to see future progress on this mod.
I meant the Jbeam. I tried to phrase it to be as non-offending as possible, I mean how good do I expect a WIP mods Jbeam to be?
yes that isnt final but id say the texture is good the lights and glass need to be finished though but its not finished
