    Hello,

So, with the new update I plugged in my old Guillemot Force Feedback Racing Wheel, done the key binding part and everything worked but the force feedback :

I can feel it working before launching the BeamNG but as soon as soon as I'm in game it is disabled.

Did I missed something ? Is there a little check-box hidden somewhere or some changes to do in the config files ?

    Thanks

Re: I can't manage to get Force Feedback working

Force Feedback is still a Work In Progress, and by default it will exert very little force (if any), to prevent injuries or damage, while we improve how it works. To increase the force, new settings will be exposed in the Controller Menu. In the meantime, if you want to tinker around the code, you can at your own risk (because this is not officially supported) edit the hydros.lua file, and increase the ForceLimit to something like "10", and the ForceCoef in increments of one hundred (different steering wheel models will need different values here, my G27 for example is happy with around 600-700, but your mileage may vary) until you get something that works.
It is also possible that your wheel steers in the wrong direction all the time, you can fix that by reversing the FFB direction from the Controller Menu.

Re: I can't manage to get Force Feedback working

    Thank you !

So, I increased the force limits to 10 N and put the friction coefficient to 600.

But it appeared that the main issue I have is that as soon as I load the Controller menu and do anything on my steering wheel FFB suddenly turns off.
To fix this problem, I only had to quit the game, reset my controller and not go back in that menu, so that's not a big issue.

I'm definitely going to mess more with the FFB settings a little more to have the best experience possible, thank you for showing me how that is possible !

To fix the problem of losing FFB, you can perform the "reload_vehicle" action (by default it's binded to keyboard Ctrl+R). This should make FFB work again without quitting BeamNG.Drive :)
