    I have no idea how difficult this would be, (or how laggy it would make the game), but it would be really cool to have an option to rewind - see a crash over and over again.

    This has been suggested very often before. It is possible, yes. Will the devs implement it soon? Probably not.

    here is the thing the devs tried this in ror it didnt work that efficiently if they did add it it will probably not work
    if the devs made so all vehicles rewind it would lag
    also if it would work on one vehicle it would look choppy and not up to beamng standards
    so sorry it will probably not happen

    Rigs of Rods != BeamNG.Drive

    The game uses a different methods to handle things, not to mention much more improved system in general.
    Never say never :)

    how about a built in screen capture system similar to Fraps? it would only record up to 60 seconds back, the rest is auto deleted as the video recorder is run, than you can do instant replay.

    or with multi camera setup the screen is recording from different angles at the same time, would require more CPU power and hard drive space but the recording could be be limited to 20 or 30 seconds and the video bandwidth could be set to record in 320p, 480p or 720p in the settings, so now you can have a replay from multiple angles.
