Reworked and Fixed Volksfagen Handles and Crashes Brilliantly™ as per the original Fun car to mess around with and use as prop? Probably less CPU heavy than other cars. Still has 16 node wheels but doesn't have messy breakgroups and such only a solid body. Features: New handling data and textures. Working lights Awesome descriptions AWD Steering and "brembo" brakes. Realistic-ish specs. Actual Turbo. Put Zip In Mods folder Known Bugs: Car/textures are not symmetrical, not my problem, the main alignment/shape is just off. Braking causes wheel geometry to behave funny, may explode wheels after a crash. The Turbo and Normal versions conflict with each other due to materials and .DAE names not being unique enough. SUGGESTED: Use one version than the other but don't switch back. May conflict with other mods with the same names - highly unlikely. Tips: Deflate tyres for flat tarmac. Transmission can be manually shifted. Turbo version can be tuned up or down. All original work goes to Dummiesman and whoever else. Original: http://www.beamng.com/threads/volksfagen.11157/ Don't reupload ANYWHERE but it'll probably end up on russian sites anyhow. Edit: Fixed Wheel Reaction Behaviour
Sorry for the bump but i managed to get the old textures on the car and for some reason the normal version turned into the turbo version with no wing or thrusters.
There's a known bug where you can't spawn both the normal and turbo version at the same time. That isn't me.
You should totally update this again for 2019, and add custom wheels, and more skins, and just random shitty extras lmao
so many memories are brought back from this post. Fun fact, did you know, this is the last mod i dowloaded before the beamng experimental branch came out, so this toy volkswagen goal (yes, it's the name of the polo sedan in the italian market, not tge brazilian vw gol) rappresents, for me, the glorious pioneeristic days of early beamng (sorry for bad english)
Oh, i get it. So there's a bug where the paint job of the turbo version gets mixed up with the normal version?
Yeah, I've had that happen when I was working on it. Just restart the game or whatever. Or only spawn one version I guess.
