Hello there,I was wondering if you remember or played Richard Burns Rally in your days.I still play Richard Burns Rally in my PC and i can tell you it is a dificult game to beat, but i still enjoy it.
I played it a couple of times at a friends house... never had the pleasure of owning it, but it was a hell of a lot of fun to play.
It is a alot of fun,but some times i get angry beacuse i crash and i must do it again. --- Post updated --- Did you know there is an mod For Richard Burns Rally? --- Post updated --- It is in here:http://forum.rallyesim.fr/viewforum.php?f=65.
BeamNG.Drive is fun because it has same harsh, brutal one hit kills damage as RBR and SLRR, all three are also at least somewhat managing to capture car handling in beliavable way, but I think RBR is worst of the three in that department, but what it manages to do is to capture spirit of rallying, it might have bit simpler car dynamics, but those rally routes makes up for that, it is really fun to compete against a clock in it. If I don't remember wrong, I had Rally School time of 1:14.xxx, but it is really long time since I played it. Really annoying when you manage to get all corners perfectly right, driving is like a magic, then that stupid branch on right turn kills the car, that was on some snow stage I think. It would be nice to have a rally map with similar stages in BeamNG, small island has some nice paved roads for similar kind of thrill factor, but I find car jumps bit much on most of the roads in BeamNG to get real rally feel, that is combination of things really.
