So, the other day, I got home from school. I felt like playing with a T75 and a Pigeon, and then when I turned it on, the fans spun up, and it didn't beep saying it POSTed. The monitor didn't turn on. Now, I have to fix it. I need your help. I'm freaking out. I unplugged everything externally and replugged everything back in, and nothing. (bites nails)

If you have built in graphics capabilities (on your mobo), take out your graphics card and see if it posts via the built in ports.

If you have another computer you could test components. (Try using the other GPU or an onboard GPU if your PC has one then maybe try switching the PSU and so on.)

First though, try testing to see if one of your RAM sticks or slots are bad. (Take one stick out, then put it back in and take the other one out if it still doesn't work. I'm assuming you have two RAM sticks as most people do.)

Oh, it's a laptop. Well, then if it's not your RAM and you weren't having any problems before it died, I'm gonna assume a dead board. Maybe it's the screen or GPU. Does the drive light flash like it should or anything?

If you have a dedicated GPU and that's what broke you'd probably have seen problems with it beforehand. (Artifiacts, lines across the screen, etc.)

Maybe its the hard drive jk, But seriously it sounds like a problem with the Motherboard or an output issue with the GPU Or the screen is dead.

One of the sticks was bad. The one in the left socket was dead. I don't know why, but it was. Now have to return it and get a new one.

I'm just going to Newegg and going through customer service to return it and replace it. Nothing much. In the chat queue now.

Just found out that my RAM is old enough to not be replaced by Newegg, but I have to go directly to G.Skill. That's a hassle, because I have to make sure I have the time and resources to make everything right. And if they don't have a similar part in their warehouse, it must go to Europe and then Taiwan to find that part. If not found, they have to give me something similar. FUCK THIS IS HARD.

I usually solve these problems by not having parts fail.
