The features you've rolled out seem engaging and make the whole experience of building and managing a custom fleet even more exciting. I had way too much fun thinking of the lore. When I first read the Quarry Dealerships description it ignited the ideas, made me realize how alive the map feels. Maybe this will spin into more of an alternate career with deeper lore and emersion later down the road. The Career mode is already off to an amazing start, I don't want this mod to come off as a "well I would do it this way" but more of just a filler for when career mode is officially flushed out.
This is awesome, makes career feel so much more worth while! One problem i found is once in a while, after losing the cops, they will still ram you without lights on. No big deal really kinda funny! over all i truly love this.

I'll probably wait until 0.32 to try to tackle that properly fixing it. I have funny feeling the next career update will add some more core features to build off of. Hey, love the mod! Adds some good depth to the career. Makes me excited for what they may add in the future. I have ran into a bug though, not sure if its just me or not though, for the the first Race of the Vintage series seems to use a different track layout than what is shown when you click on it in the map. The Ai seems to want to use the layout shown in the map while the one in the race is different, leading them to slam into a wall and get stuck on lap 1. Ill check to see how the others work after my car is repaired haha
Glad you’re enjoying it! Try unpacking the RLS Championship mod. For some reason that makes the difference. My guess is I didn’t pack it correctly and the level changes are not taking place until it’s unpacked. Sorry for your car!
I haven’t tried it yet with 0.32. Not sure what all the career changes are but I imagine the new map updates will cause some a.i pathing issues during some of the races. Please let me know if you find any issues so we can get this 0.32 ready quickly.
I tried and I think its gonna need an update, the spawnpoint was borked when I tried it on a new save lol
so the first time starting up the Career mode the game crashed after restarting the game i just loaded up west coast and after a while i noticed the speedcameras wernt on the map anymore
Thanks for the info! I had altered the 0.31 map so I imagine its overwriting the 0.32. It looks like they have changed a ton with the new career mode. I'm pretty sure I'll need to redo from the ground up the Career overhaul part. On a positive note the AI seems to have been improved and follow the custom races better. Any suggestions on what parts to prioritize getting back in the mod first?

LOVE THIS MOD!!! the hotfix today made traffic not work properly anymore it was working awesome yesterday. i really enjoy the cops

I know the devs are working hard on a lot of background stuff and getting it correct before working on the fun stuff that I've been trying to add. So it makes sense this mod will quickly and constantly get broken. But that just means the devs are that much closer to their vision! Can you tell me more specifically what the traffic is doing? Does the mod still allow career to boot up? Thanks! Edit/update: after looking at the patch notes I think I know what happened. I think the patch note below adjusted the "player driving" Lua file that I had edited. I remember seeing code referencing respawn distance in the file a lot. (thought about tweaking it hehe) Fixed wrong calculation for minimum respawn distance The fix for now while I'm gone: Option 1- Try removing that "player driving" Lua file. I can't remember the exact name. This should allow the mod to work again but you will loose some key features like police. Option 2 - find the section in the Lua fine that references "respawn distance" and copy the code from the hotfix file and replace it in the mod file. Option 3 - wait until I get back next week haha. As I think about changes I'm going to make when I get back, how does everyone feel about the economy balancing? Do certain events not pay enough? Do things pay too much? I hope to dial back the delivery amounts and adjusting the pricing.
if you know what your doing with a semi/ truck trailer combo you can make money pretty fast imo. i do like the big payouts but i feel the money earned per hour def needs to go WAY DOWN. i was able to make like 300k in less then an hour with a semi with flatbed. it did help there was no cops. but tbh at those payouts i didnt really care. i havent done anything but the deliverys yet. glad you have a plan in place to fix it. thank you for making the mod and putting time and effort into it.
