Road and metal scrape noise?

If you've ever heard metal scrape across asphalt you'll understand what I mean, I think that should be implemented like the skid sound but whenever metal drags (say a bumper) or you roll the car onto the roof and skid down the road it should make that god awful scrape sound. Just a thought that I had while rolling cars today lol

Scratch sound would be nice, especially for the bus, because it has so much surface area that could have ground contact.

 

I completely agree that would be real neat. It does not seem that hard to make, I think it would be like the crash sound, but the sound is activated from really weak hits or something.

 

The simplest way may be, to trigger the sound whenever sparks spray.

 

There is a sound mod that adds a bunch of sounds to the game, including a scrape sound when metal slides across the ground. I cant remember the name of it though. :/

 

I can guarantee you that that mod is outdated now, it has not been updated in 1.5 years

 

So, how hard would it be to make a simple mod, that plays a sound whenever sparks are rendered? I never made a (sound) mod and then wiki page is not very helpful.

Yeah that works, but it sounds not very good. You can clearly hear the loop.
