I made it home, it was crazy but I made it safely. I went into my house, up the stairs, to my bedroom and into my closet. I took out 2 duffle bags and began filling them with some clothes and 2 pairs of shoes. I brought the bags with me down the stairs and into the kitchen. I set the bags down on the counter and hurried over to the cabinets, opening them and grabbing the canned food and water. I put them in the bags and left them to head back upstairs. I looked around for important items.. my charger, tablet, laptop, and other essentials. I ran back down stairs to the kitchen and put them in the bags. I zipped them up and left to my truck. I placed them inside until I heard a loud boom.. or fainted boom coming from the left of me, I ran over to the balcony and looked over at the city.. I could see dark smoke and small bits of fire. It seemed either this wasn't going to be normal hurricane or.. the people are just over reacting.
