After work today I headed straight to the shop and began wrenching on the Hopper again. I stripped the rest off of frame, except for the tub which will remain in place due to how I want to construct the roll cage. I rolled it back into the shop and hoisted it up with the lift in order to remove the axles and rest of the suspension components but didn't get a picture of it before I closed up the shop. I have a plethora of 1 3/4" DOM steel tubing at the shop that I will use for the roll cage when I begin it tomorrow.
I finally managed to save up enough money from my crappy job at AJ's Auto Repair to move to Maine. Everything is packed, and it is time to move out of Utah. --- Post updated --- I'm staying in the Firwood Inn until I find a new house. I'm glad to be here though.
Amm a bit of change. Let's say that I am 22. So ya from this age school is gone. Now I need to find a job
I ended up buying this farmhouse for a pretty cheap price. It needs a lot of work, but it's a solid place to live and has a lot of space if I ever want to have a party or fix up some cars. I'm heading into town to see if I can find a job. --- Post updated --- I arrived at this BeamRepairs place to see if I could get a job. The interview went well and the guy said he would get back to me. His name was @jerrie and I'm hoping he'll give me a call. Looking over my car, my tires are worn down, so I need to buy new tires, and I also need to buy some hubcaps. I think I'll buy here. They even have thin whitewall tires for my rim size, so that's cool. --- Post updated --- The gas station i'm at is hosting a car meet tomorrow. I might go, as my car is boring but pretty rare. It also has the whitewalls on now, which only make it rarer.
Reading the paper, i see something interesting. A car meet at the gas station. Ill probably take my old burnside, as its an oldtimer, and it still works fairly well. I also give @brien_w a call. The guy seemed right for job, so hes hired. After i hang up the phone, i start doing some work on my burnside.
New life (last life was boring so new one) Name: Denis Wiliams Age:22 House: Yes Car: Diesel Ibishu Pessima Job: none Location: This place is near East Coast USA More info: I was born in Germany and now I am live here. Just finished my high school and college
'I planned to go to East Coast USA and search for a job *After searching the web* Yes! I found a job I should go and try to get it. So I drove there and answered questions and I got a job. My job is a plumber and I am happy about it.
I got the roll cage/tube chassis all together and made some roof panels out of aluminum. I set the engine into the frame and began making the motor mounts. I also made a fuel cell and plumbed the fuel lines for that. My fabricated axle housings were delivered to the shop, which wound up distracting me from the project at hand for the time being. I purchased some used coilovers and external bypass shocks off of Gabeslist from someone in Belasco City, which shipped out and were also delivered yesterday. That allowed me to set the axles in place and build out all of the suspension links. It's officially a roller, and rests on its old 31s for the time being. There's still a lot left to do before I can fire it up and move it, like running brake lines and lines for the hydraulic steering ram. Driveshafts also need to be built, which I sent out an order for 3 (which will give me 1 for a spare) aluminum shafts online. I also need to reassemble the rest of the body, too and address the interior situation. However, I'm slowly making progress.
March 8th, 2020 I blew the transmission on my GM, I was going '90 on Route 1 when a deer crossed the road right in front of me. I slammed on the brakes, but accidentally threw the gear selector into reverse instead of park while avoiding it. After the damage was done, all I could hear for the next 10 seconds, while avoiding tumbling off the side of the highway, was a bunch of metal ear piercingly rubbing and hitting each other inside the transmission bellhousing until the car came to a jolting stop. I tried to put it in drive, but the Gear selector was stuck in reverse, following with a warning light on the dash. I've since gotten some estimates from local repair shops to replace the transmission, But the lowest price was $1,900, In which I currently do not want to spend on a car that can have its value doubled if it has a full tank of gas, and new tires. Since I'll be desperately needing a vehicle to go to and from work while the GM is sitting in my driveway collecting pollen, twigs, and what not, I've decided to pull the trigger and buy a new truck. And luckily for me, one of my close friends is selling their "Lightly" customized D25 in which I very much like the look of it. March 11th, 2020 Meet "Cracky", A 1990 D25 4WD with an almost 40 inch lift kit, 38 inch Super Swappers, 17 inch SamPerf Trophy 1000's, custom 4 link solid axle suspension, N/A gasser V8 making close to 540HP and 600 lb-ft, and a custom straight piped exhaust system. The suspension was done almost entirely by a Off-Roading enthusiast shop in Moab, Utah. And finished by the now ex-owner of the truck who aligned it perfectly straight. Overall the truck costed me a whopping $18,000, but I deem it as fair when you take a look at all of the quality work done to it. I don't plan to-do anything to it apart from change out the stock brakes, to upgraded ones that wont sizzle when standing on the brakes from 60 - 0MPH.
-Partial Restart- (I'm keeping the same name, job, etc. Really all I'm changing are my vehicles) I live here in ECA and rent shop space in the same place I did before. I own a 1988 Gavril D25 long bed, which was my first vehicle. Me and my dad unburied this time capsule from the 80s out of some barn when I was 15 years old, and while it was covered with a measurable amount of dust, it's in immaculate shape and has never seen a winter as far as I know. The only thing I've added to it is more miles and some new tires, which were just direct replacements for what it had previously. Its an old leafer truck, but makes decent power with its 5.5L and a RoadSport blower that was installed on it at one point or another. I also own a 1991 Ibishu Hopper XT-4, which is now a semi-tube frame crawler. This was my second ever vehicle, which I bought with the intention of wheeling it. Being an Eastern vehicle, it had a slight amount of rust in the floorpans and such, which I repaired over time. This Hopper has been through many phases, with its most recent being a 4.5L Gavril V8 swap out of a greasy 200K mile GM. It sits on 36" mud-terrains and a set of used SamPerf wheels. I'm running fabricated housing Gavril 10" axles and separate coilovers and external bypass shocks at all 4 corners.
I’m doing well in my job at the moment. I might start my own car repair business if I make enough money.

I've arrived home after a meeting with a strange man. High school dropout, that sort. I can't say much yet, but I may be driving a nice car and have a fully paid off house if all goes well. --- Post updated --- Breaking News: A car accident has struck small town Firwood, taking the life of two people and injuring one. The driver and passenger of the roamer were both drunk, and struck the driver of the ETK while he was waiting for someone to turn. The two people in the Roamer are so far unidentified, but the driver of the ETK was identified as Brien Wilhelm. Mr. Wilhelm, and ex FBI agent and recent owner of the Stratego Company, is currently in hospital in critical condition. --- Post updated ---
Driving this truck might be nerve racking, maybe because its a wide car, or truck. I never learned how to load or park with the trailer, and I only have a home in a Cab... lucky enough.
