RoR .truck import - still going ahead?

In the past, it was mentioned that BeamNG might have some kind of script which would allow you to import the node/beam chassis file of an existing Rigs of Rods vehicle. This was a while ago, however. Has there been much progress on this front, if any at all, and can we expect to see something like this in the eventual demo release? Extremely keen to give it a shot and check it out.

It actually shouldn't be hard to make a sort of converter that parses the file. I'm not sure if the devs will make it, but one of us probably will. I'd probably do it if its not there.

 

Yes, but if you want to fully convert vehicle, you need to convert mesh separately

It would be best in almost all cases to simply rebuild it. RoR chassis' are very dated for the most part, even Gabesters last RoR releases will probably be dated in comparison to his beamng NBs.
