Has the 1.0L, 1.2L and 1.4L engines available, with a decent amount of modification. Police and "Amis" configs are also present. Though I do plan to have an OHC swap also.

Known issues;

Rear end spiking issues

Engine mounts behave strangely sometimes

Rear suspension is very weak.

As mentioned above, Jbeam is pretty "meh" and therefor unstable

A few textures are a little off.

Car weighs about 220kg too much.

Wheel / Tire meshes for the 12x6 rims may not line up correctly

Wheel offset is pretty weird

Whoever wants to lend a hand with development, feel free to start a conversation!

Yes you can make mods and skins for this, if you do please mention me in them so I can check them out!

Biggest changes

-Swapped out the Covet Multi Link rear suspension for Autobello rear semi trailing arms (Prone to bending in front enders)

- Enabled the odometer again now that I have permission from Mike94 to use the lua from his Satsuma 210

- Added Roofrack (Uses D Series / Roamer Jbeam for now), and Geoff the legendary duck

- Added rear window louvres

- Gearshifter is now animated for gears 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and reverse (No 6 speed gearbox is ever coming)

- Added additional subwoofers which fill up the hole behind the rear seats. VOLUME WARNING!!

- Gear ratios for the normal 5 speed gearbox adjusted

- Headlights now have their own Jbeam and as such, can now fall out

- Front grille jbeam totally redone

- Broken light glass material fixed / improved

- Radiator fan props no longer tied to the engine block

- Added 1.7L DOHC Engine

Boring stuff

- Added a welded front differential if you want to have some offroad fun

- Moved around some meshes so they actually fit properly

- Attempted to fix the transparency issues with the Finnish plates

- 12x6 tires are in general a bit more stable and less likely to explode at high speed

- Choke throttle input refined a little

- Fixed tinted rear window texture (now it almost works instead of not at all)

- Added a few extra factory colour options, and made existing ones a little shinier

- Changed some default config colours

- Rear wheel speed is no longer calculated into the wheel-speedometer's total value (Basically you can rack up the odometer value super fast by lifting the front wheels up)

- Added cut springs for the amis config

- Made "gear floating" easier

-Oil temperature gauge replaced with oil pressure gauge
-Added very basic / semi dynamic oil pressure "simulation"
-Added ignition key animation
-Oil warning light on dashboard now illuminates if there is less than 2 litres of oil in the engine or less than 1.5 bar of oil pressure
-Pohjanmaa and "Amis" configs both modified slightly (radiators changed and racing flywheel removed)
-Racing radiators removed from all non racing configs that had it (120gt and so on)
-Alternator warning light and oil warning light now turn off when the ignition is manually disabled
-Revlimiters adjusted
-Performance brakes adjusted
-Aftermarket tachometer's light now illuminates when you are within 20% of the RPM required to hit the rev limiter (dynamic)-
-Added AY12 (1.2L Race hemi) engine, no tuning options yet
-Added A14 engine and accompanying parts

-Interior panelwork and doorcards can now be removed

-Descriptions for all configs changed

- 5 spoke and "turbine" style alloy wheels in 12x6 format

-12x6 Racing slicks adjusted

-Thumbnails for 80% of configs changed

-A few props realigned

-Stock seat names changed in Jbeam and the .dae, hopefully should not interfere with the H15 Vanster's seats!

-A few wires added, no more bluetooth starter motor or tail lights

-A lot of Jbeam reworking around the rear end of the car, quite a few new and repositioned nodes
-Double wishbone front suspension from the Covet replaced with MacPherson struts from the Sunburst
-Front bumper massively stronger, won't act like jelly anymore

-Thanks @crashmaster for these very nice fixes and changes ^

- Front splitters / spoilers should not interfere with "marker" lights or the front bumper anymore

- Stock front brakes are now 20% stronger

- Added basic choke system, when the bound key is pressed idle RPM will increase by 600 RPM (Default key is / )

- Radio system migrated away from the old system which was based on sirens, default keybind is "L"

- Added aftermarket subwoofers

Custom radio usage

It has to be named "mix.wav" and in the .wav format otherwise it will not play. You can't use multiple audio files, so I recommend using audacity to make one large audio file with all the music you want in it

Navigate to your "Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles\satsoom" folder, make a folder within it named "custom" and drop your "mix.wav" file in there.

You can do this with the game open and car spawned, you will need to hit CTRL + R to reset the car, which will give it the new audio file.

Custom skin usage (using the built in custom slot)

Navigate to your "Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles\satsoom" folder, make a folder within it named "custom" and drop your "custom_skin" file in there. That custom skin file HAS to be in the .dds format, otherwise nothing will happen.

You can do this with the game open and car spawned, you will need to hit CTRL + R to reset the car, which will update the texture. (In theory)

No you can't reupload this mod, regardless if you ask. (Не загружать.)

Do not rip meshes from this to create mods for MSC, any meshes that are reasonably high detail and not ripped from MSC are of my own authorship and were intended to be used in MSC mods in the first place, so do not bother.

Well i'm sorry to see this one cancelled… I absolutely love this mod! For all the bad stuff you say about the crashing etc, it really isn't that bad to crash! Plus, the detail is insane, I especially loved the moving engine parts etc, in my opinion the best mod since oldsfullsize! You did a great job, and I hope you bring it back in the future friend
PS this is my first time posting a comment after a long time lurking, that's how much I like the satsuma!

sad that this has come to an end, it being possibly the most detailed mod in beamng. who knows maybe he is working on another vehicle like the legendary Ruscko or the mighty Hayosiko, who knows ?
