We have global parameters such as "scaleDeform", "scalebeamDeform", "scaleCouplerStrength", etc. which are useful for a lot of things sometimes. However latches from doors are exempt, mainly because they're not beams like the rest of the car, but instead generated through lua, including their "break" strength, so they're not subject to global scaling. Having a scale parameter for latches, or more specifically for their break strength, would be certainly nice to have, if it could be looked into at least a small bit during a day when it's not super busy. It'd be extremely niche, sure, but I can think of at least a few uses for it. If anything, at least it's there I guess... or at the very least, maybe having such a function would allow me to make a lua file/mod that I can tell to override all latches created for vehicles and set their strength value to what's in the file sorta like the other beams.

I don't know, I tend to like the little things, and I just like having consistency across entities like this. I had a few ideas for some things I wanted to try doing, but without this sort of feature available I won't be able to really do it, unless I went in to every car's door jbeams manually and increase the latch strength value by hand.
