Please let me know if I'm posting in wrong forum branch! This is a bunch of modifications for Scintilla i made for my friend, but plan to release to public when its done. Credits: - BeamNG.drive - for most original parts and their respective jbeams - SubieBerry - for Scintilla low headlights and matching fenders (Link) - AngeTheGreat - for Engine Simulator software (3.0L V10 sound) (YouTube Link) Dependencies: - SubieBerry's Scintilla Low Headlights (Link) Content: - HOT: wide-angle Varsprung 899 front suspension kit with custom model and colorable details (color slot 3); lots of tuning parameters - adjustable wheel lock angle for wheel setup users, - VS 899 kit with normal angle steering - for those of you who like stance stuff, - Varsprung rear suspension kit with more adjustable parameters range, - new set of body panels, wider and higher wheel arch than original, - modified bumpers (just fitting the style of my friend but you can try 'em out - there's other stuff for them, like - carbon rear diffuser with moderate downforce, - two frame-mounted brackets for spoilers and three spoilers for them (currently not adjustable), - new "quarter-out" "pop&bang" engine exhaust stacks with respective quarterpanels, - hi-rpm long-block for V8, - two respectable RedTec ECU with 10k and 12k rpm redlines (they have no other differences right now tho), - ultra-capable radiators to withstand the heat from the engine, - [WIP] 3.0L V10 19k+ rpm redline engine - bad sounds and just not completed yet, - ITB intake for said engine, - HOT: adjustable (5 - 450 kg) front axle ballast to make your Scintilla little bit less mid-rear bias, fix weight distribution and make it easey-driftey. Known bugs / WIP: - suspension may misbehave with extreme settings - body panels are not colorable by livery (liveries doesn't work in general - UVs to be done later) - 3.0L V10 has terrible sounds - new body panels are kinda messy under wide-body - diffuser, spoilers and brackets can have weird behavior - can follow you on invisible rope and deform improperly (jbeam to be tweaked) - V10 exhaust stacks are bugged - some other stuff is to be added, such as: - canards - different V10 ITB layout (vertical) - ITB's for V8 - considering other stuff to add - *your suggestions may be here* Other info and disclaimers: - i have explicit SubieBerry permission to use low headlights stuff, big thanks for him! - mod is still Beta/WIP, remember that, however bug reporting of yet unknown bugs in this thread is welcome; - your suggestions may or may not be implemented; - special "Thank you" goes to Shelly (no links attached) for being original idea generator, excellent annoyer and nitpicker and for commissions too; - other "Thank you" goes to everybody who supported me in general, modding community, BeamNG.drive team and everyone else who made it possible. This is hilarious, because it is based on vanilla carbon texture. I had to remake UVs, so i made a new material and basically Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V part of vanilla carbon texture that can be tiled, and then made a normalmap out of it with online generator. I'm pretty satisfied with the result as well. Thank you
