Anyone checked out this cool site, honestly for the money to print my creation i'd rather buy a 3d printer and do it myself. But you upload your 3D model and they will quote you on it! http://www.sculpteo.com/en/design/2_17_14_trx450r/hytmkZqi Cost 882$ to have my model printed.. Ridiculously expensive but a cool thought! Maybe one day when my project is done it can sit on my desk too .
That is really cool but very expensive. There is a local business near me that offers 3D printing for less than that place but it's still kinda pricey. Once the price comes down thou I think i'm going to get a 1/24 scale Moonhawk I think this place also makes composite car parts and bodys so maybe a 1/1 scale Moonhawk. Or I could just buy a 77 Chevelle Amazing technology thou. In 10/20/30 years we might start seeing car replicas made using 3D printing.
http://www.shapeways.com is who I hear being used most of the time. Although for some work you might take a look on here: http://letsmakerobots.com/node/38425 Personally I would just go with building a prusa though
Ah noone in Tennessee has a 3D printer on there lol I'd love to have like a crashed beamng car for a 3d model
