Hi, I'm trying to add a better surrounding terrain to my Somerset map. I have a .dae export from Blender, the file structure is set up as: base00 > start00 > Colmesh-1 I have managed to export this same file before and have it work (but wanted to increase the , but now, when I load it up, I get a console error that says: SceneStaticManager::_rebuildNodes | Shape with invalid detail level The object will happily go into the level, but is invisible. The collision bounds work fine. The object also shows up with the correct texture in the Shape Editor preview box. The material seems to be set up fine, as I can use this for other objects (and it is on the shape editor preview) Any thoughts? I'm baffled... Thanks in advance. Screenshots below --- Post updated --- Those screenshots didn't work wonderfully. But I hope the rest makes sense.
You need to duplicate colmesh-1 in under same parent and name it something else like without any numbers at the end (like "somerset_backdrop"). This time it will show up. Or you can change the name of colmesh-1 and make it collision-able from level editor, i think it was named like final mesh, your choice When you exported it with only one model named colmesh, the game recognized it only as a collision mesh like there will be another mesh for the details and it become invisible.
This is the terrain snugly fitting into the wider object. Thanks again for the help. Hoping to get this together with some other changes for an update soon (Will hopefully fix the no-texture issues too)..
