Recently had some time to look at some lower-end graphics cards, and this one caught my eye. I would guess you might be able to play BeamNG on low settings and no more than 2 or 3 vehicles at once. Could be totally wrong about that though, so I would like to know what your guys' opinions on it are. http://www.ebay.com/itm/AS-IS-EVGA-...831806&hash=item5b3cd6ccba:g:taAAAOSwEUtZj5oJ
Low? No, you mean lowest settings on 720p. Rule 1. Never buy GPUs from eBay. They could have been abused in every way. Rule 2. Never get a card worse than integrated graphics unless your CPU does not include them and you have no money. If you need to go budget, the GTX 750 would run the game in low 1080p.
No warranty, no accessories, "sometimes" has problems??!?! I wouldn't do it even if that was a recent top of the line card. AND it's a GT 610! If you got this you could probably do one car, absolute minimum settings, 15 fps. Please, no.
Don't waste your money a GT 610 will run beamng like garbage with low settings 1 car. At a small budget a GTX 570 would be way better.
Don't buy something used that's listed as not working / for parts - unless you know how to fix it. A 520 that is working is listed for 19.99 right in the ad at the bottom of similar stuff. Go on Amazon and look for 'cheapest' 'video cards' Nvidia 620 1gb ddr3 22$ (Barely adequate for 720p but may work...slowly) https://www.amazon.com/Dell-nVidia-GeForce-Express-ML117N/dp/B014JVDZFC/ Nvidia 730 2gb ddr3 60$ (a little more capable on 720p but may have some stuttering on 1080p above medium settings) https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Gaming-Graphics-Cards-GV-N730-2GI/dp/B0196RGZ6A/ Radeon 550 2gb gdd5 for 89$ (recommended) https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Radeon-Gaming-Graphic-GV-RX550GAMINGOC-2GD/dp/B06Y3ZQPYH/ VERY CAPABLE CURRENT card 125$ Radeon Rx 560 2gb GDDR5 (recommended) https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-Graphics-Graphic-11267-02-20G/dp/B071HR2X9Q/ radeon rx 550 4gb gddr5 (more texture detail allowed with higher vram amounts like this - more future proof - again recommended) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZY7QL8M/ 560 2gb gddr5for 100$ here (save a few $ ) https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GV-RX560OC-2GD-Radeon-Graphic-Card/dp/B074PJJQ8P/ You could keep throwing money at the problem every year, or save up and be good for a few years. 150$ is a good budget for a good card provided you can power it and have room for it/can keep it cool enough, at this price you'll get a few years out of it. You can continue to look on the used market, a friend picked up a Radeon 6750 1gb ddr3 card a year ago for 20$, which still works, off of FLEABAY (Ebay!), and it did the trick to keep her gaming, though she can't run this game very well with it on forested maps, it works to run 720p on many half-decent modern 3d games. Modern skylake and above graphics may easily out-muscle that 620. Skylake and above can actually run Beamng.drive maps and even my Roane County map with half-decent low-to-medium settings at a playable frame rate. Be aware of some video cards especially those 20$ cards that have a dvi-dual adapter that is proprietary and needs a special (usually 10$) y-cable to hook to a screen. Always check the ports!
