Should I quit

As many of you guys know, I'm making a beamng movie but something very unfortunate happened... I managed to delete a folder called "Captures" where all my footage are.
Question : how did you know you deleted you footage folder ?
Answer : I was tryna clean my PC by deleting useless folders and files but little did I know, somehow managed to delete the footage folder.

Anyways I feel very depressed. All those footage are gone just by one click.

And no I'm not going to continue filming.

Is your "Captures" folder sitting in your computer's recycle bin?

No. I recycled the bin then went back filming and when I started to edit, I noticed theres only one video in my footage folder and it was at that moment, I knew I ****** up

Yo, don't give up and use this. I'm telling you, you might have a chance at recovering those files.

Don't install more things besides this since it can overwrite and corrupt those videos.

U know U can still recover your stuff that u deleted?

and about leaving.....it depends on you. not me. So I'm not going to vote anything

 

this is a good time to remind people to always make backups of important things on separate disks that are not always connected to your pc

He said he was cleaning up his files and accidentally cleaned up his folder. Also was if really necessary to call someone 'stupid?' Not everyone is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes.

Wait a while, maybe you'll want to start again sometime. And listen to @TechnicolorDalek, keep a backup.

 

Have empty USB memory stick, use software like Recuva and set destination of recovered files to USB stick, DO NOT CREATE FILES ON DRIVE THEY WERE ORIGINALLY AT!!! That will make permanent loss.

There are other software than that, look around, but you might be able to recover good bit, depending how much you have moved / created files after deleting captures.

It's a pretty damn big mistake to delete all of your recorded videos.
